Christopher is an amazing instructor. I know nothing about guns and shooting. The lessons were extremely thorough and detailed. We practiced until we were both comfortable that we understood what and how to handle the gun. Also, he is very intuitive and was able to sense my apprehension and help me deal with it. Highly recommend!

We found Christopher through a local shop and did not know what to expect. I am very inexperienced with firearms and my wife had never fired one.
Christopher was quick to create a light and educational environment focusing on safety first, taking his time to explain very clearly certain aspects of safety, loading, firing, etc, and had materials and slides prepared for our course.
After the brief course at his home, we went to the range where we had a whole section to ourselves, and Christopher was fully prepared for the elements with his own equipment. We practiced loading, firing, stance and grip and in the end he allowed the opportunity for a mag-dump, which many ranges prohibit. He made what could be a stressful process into a fun one, and was very respectful with both myself and my wife for the entirety of our experience.
We hope to continue our education and practice with Christopher and have no hesitation in referring him to anyone interested in firearms.

This was my 3rd time working with Christopher. I choose to keep going back to Boolits Builders because I know Christopher will be patient with me and teach me what I need to know. I've been around other instructors, who were good, but Christopher was the only one who had the care and compassion that I needed as an inexperienced gun owner. I went into this course ( for concealed carry) with enough knowledge of my own weapon to carry comfortably. After taking my class, I left feeling so much more confident in handling firearms. The course was extremely thorough and took a total of 3 hours. Chris & his family are great people, the environment was extremely comfortable, and I would recommend this to anyone. I was recommended by my husband, and we plan on sending as many people to them as possible!

I took the concealed carry course with Chris. There were only 2 of us in the class so it didn’t feel rushed and could ask any questions we had. Very well done! My wife and I purchased a handgun and knew absolutely nothing about basic safety, such as; storage, loading, unloading, and firing. One afternoon with Chris…we learned all of that, plus valuable gun range etiquette. We are now comfortable having a handgun in the home and look forward to weekend target practice/competition!

I got my husband a personal one on one shooting class and private shooting lesson.

Chris was extremely personable, and with an approach to teaching that made it so much and easy to understand. He is very engaging through the whole process and made me very calm. I was nervous at first and he continued to give me confidence the whole time. His approach is very catered to what it is you are looking for. Myself I wanted to feel more comfortable using the gun in case of any emergency and I left with just that. Every tip and guidance he gave made the experience that much more enjoyable and I left feeling like I actually knew what to do(with more of his training or course).

Chris was very understanding and competent in understanding and helping without even being asked to help correct posture and grip and diagnosing the issues with why my groupings weren't where they should be. All around great instructor for those who are not about ego and about genuinely helping.

About one year ago I had taken a course with Boolits Builders LLC and was very pleased. It’s never a good feeling to purchase a new handgun and not be able to find a adequate holster even from the big holster company names. Thankfully I Reached out to Chris at Boolits Builders. Chris replied promptly and knew even though it would be a bit of a challenge considering my new gun with a flashlight. He not only helped me design and make a kydex leather hybrid holster with extra mag clip but also taught me the art and skill to make one myself. I am more then pleased and highly recommended. 10 out of 10!!!

Chris has developed a comprehensive, easy-to-follow, and effective carry training course. He was knowledgeable and had good insight to share based on his experience. He was also patient with me as I asked all my questions, which helped to increase my confidence. Chris was very responsive during the initial scheduling process, as well as flexible in scheduling a day.

So patient with our 10 year old son and he made it easy for him to understand and made my son feel comfortable: best experience highly recommended
